Course overview
This day-time course runs for two semesters (32 weeks). It is an e-learning course training the students to become network associates. The course consists of 4 modules. Before a student is allowed to continue with the next module, an exam must be taken and passed. The pass mark for the exam is 70%. Upon completion of the four modules, a student can sit for a certification exam at a VUE centre in Nairobi. The cost for this exam has to be borne by the student and is not part of the fee structure of the course.
Entry requirements
To be eligible for admission into the Cisco training programme, a candidate must have:
A MED certificate of completion in Networking fundamentals

Semester I Module I: Networking Basics
Consists of 11 chapters and takes 8 weeks Module II: Routers and Routing Basics
Consists of 11 chapters and takes 8 weeks
Semester II Module III
Consists of 11 chapters and takes 8 weeks Module IV
Consists of 11 chapters and takes 8 weeks
Duration
Semester I Module I: Networking Basics
