Recognising the many challenges that adult students face that make attending a full day of classes unmanageable, such as jobs and taking care of families, MED offers Evening Programme courses. The MED Evening Programme allows adults to obtain and advance computer skills while being able to maintain jobs during business hours. The courses are held between the hours of 5:00pm and 9:00pm Monday to Thursday.
EC01 Introduction to Computers 16-hrs Kshs. 1500.00
This course is designed to help those with little or no computer experience. (To be taken along with Microsoft Windows 2000).
EC02 Microsoft Windows 2000 16-hrs Kshs. 1500.00
This course teaches students how to work with Microsoft Windows Explorer, hierarchy and programmes; customising the desktop, using the network and active directory; managing and administering the workstation.
EC03 Introduction to Internet & E-mail 16-hrs Kshs. 1500.00
This course will familiarise students with the Internet and teach students to manipulate e-mail through Microsoft Outlook. Topics include connecting to and navigating the Internet, using web-based search engines, and basic Internet security.
EC04 Typing course 16-hrs Kshs. 1000.00
This course will give the student typing skills, which will improve the student’s speed and accuracy in entering data using computer programmes.
