Educational Volunteers
In the educational field, volunteers are needed to teach courses on computers, business, English, and other subjects that are deemed helpful to the Maasai and Swahili students. In addition to teaching, volunteers can help with other programs, such as mentoring and counseling and other community education programs.

Healthcare Volunteers Volunteers with experience or an interest in the healthcare field have the opportunity to assist in both local clinics and with crucial HIV/AIDS prevention work. MED will put up mobile clinics where doctors in America can take a week off and travel to meet Maasai and Swahili people to help solve small minor medical issues. This program is ideal for all pre-med students, medical students and nurses. In this program volunteers also get a chance to volunteer in a public health department and examine different business entities in town to ensure that they comply with health regulations.

Environmental Volunteer Volunteers are needed in the development of environmental education programs, which will teach the local people of the importance of a clean environment. Volunteers not only make important contributions through their work, but also allow the Maasai and Swahili students to learn about other cultures and enhance their learning in a bicultural way.
