The Maasai Education Discovery short term volunteer project is designed for volunteers, individuals or families who would like to spend a month in Africa helping make a difference in people’s lives.
Volunteers will work specifically with the Maasai and Swahili communities of Kenya, in Narok and Malindi to support essential educational, healthcare and environmental programs. Volunteer program last for a maximum of one month, volunteers will spend two week in Malindi, working with the Swahili people and one week in Nairobi and one week in Narok working with the Maasai people of Kenya.

Pre-Med students, nurses, doctors are encouraged to apply for the health programs, while teachers and environmentalist are encouraged to apply to the education and environmental program respectfully.
All volunteer programs include a one day trip to the Maasai Mara game reserve as well as cultural excursions in Maasai villages and homesteads.

Programs take place every month so you can apply anytime. There only 10 position in a month so if you apply early.
